For Honor is Ubisoft’s Viking/knight/samurai simulator which focuses on intense and complex melee combat. The game looks quite well and fun, so lots of players are eager to see it launch. It’s getting released soon, on February 14th, 2017, so you don’t have to wait for much longer! We also got to see For Honor’s Season Pass contents and the developers even revealed info about future free content that will be released over the course of three seasons.
For Honor’s Season Pass includes six new Heroes to play with. These Heroes will be released in pairs of two at the start of every new season of the Faction War. Players that have purchased the Season Pass will get access to these new Heroes seven days before players who don’t own the Season Pass do. These Heroes will become available to all players after the Season Pass early access period is over, and then players can use Steel, the in-game currency which is earned by completing matches and various in-game challenges, to unlock them. Six elite outfits to customize the new heroes and an exclusive sunbeam effect on emotes for all heroes will be given to Season Pass owners. They will also get three scavenger crates which will unlock some additional gear for them. Finally, players who bought the Season Pass will get a 30-Day Champion Status that gives an XP boost to both you and your friends, as well as increased XP from crafting and more loot at the end of every match.
But, don’t worry, even if you’re not going to buy the Season Pass, you have things to look forward to. The developers also announced that For Honor will receive free downloadable content over the course of three seasons, so expect things like new maps, modes, and gear to come to all players, but the Season Pass owners are going to have their early access period for certain elements of this content.
