In Battlefield 1, players will once again experience the historic battlefields of early 20th century Europe – but for the first time in the Battlefield series, the game will be set in World War I.
From the Italian Alps to the Arabian deserts, the game will feature a number of historic frontlines as well as matching weaponry, vehicles and technologies: Trench warfare, classic fighter planes and cavalry will all be part of the game. Even the most gruesome details like mustard gas attacks will be taken into account.
Battlefield 1 releases on 21 October 2016 for PC, Xbox One and Playstation 4.
