While Bethesda are mostly known for their famous RPG-series The Elder Scrolls and Fallout, they also spawned a few new franchises in the last years. According to Bethesda’s vice-president Pete Hines, at least two of those would deserve a sequel.
With id Software’s RAGE and Tango Gameworks’ The Evil Within, Bethesda explored two new genres: Post-apocalyptic vehicle action and old school survival horror. While both games were well received by critics and fans, the publisher was quiet about any future plans. In an interview with finder.com.au, Pete Hines at least acknowledged that both games sold good enough to warrant a sequel. While this is of course no guarantee that there are actual plans for any of these games, fans can rest assured that they are not forgotten.
